01Definitions

In these Terms, the following words have the meanings below:

• “Academy” means ORYX Football Academy, its coaches, administrative staff and authorised representatives.
• “Player” means the child enrolled or attending a trial with the Academy.
• “Parent/Guardian” means the parent or legal guardian who registers the Player and accepts these Terms on the Player's behalf.
• “Programme” means any training plan, session, camp, tournament or event delivered by the Academy.
• “Kit” means the official ORYX training and match apparel and associated items issued to the Player.
• “Session” means a scheduled training session, match or event operated by the Academy.

02Enrolment & Registration

Registration is confirmed only once the registration fee has been paid in full and the Player has successfully completed a trial session.

The Parent/Guardian is responsible for providing complete and accurate contact, medical and emergency information at the point of registration. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may put the Player at risk and may invalidate the Academy's duty of care.

ORYX reserves the right to decline, postpone, or defer enrolment on the basis of capacity, age-group availability, or the outcome of the trial assessment. Any such decision will be communicated in writing.

03Trial Sessions

• Each Player is entitled to one free trial session at the Academy.
• A successful trial does not automatically guarantee enrolment; a place is offered at the sole discretion of the Head of Coaching, subject to squad capacity and age-group availability.
• All trial participants must complete the online signup form, provide accurate parental contact details, and disclose any pre-existing medical conditions before stepping on the pitch.
• Players must arrive with appropriate football attire (shirt, shorts, socks, shin pads and boots).

04Fees & Payment

All fees are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. The current fee structure is as follows:

Registration fee brackets correspond to the Player’s age on the date of registration. The U7 Registration includes one (1) official ORYX training kit, one (1) pair of socks and one (1) training bag. The U8–U17 Registration includes two (2) official ORYX kits (training and match), two (2) pairs of socks, one (1) training bag and one (1) jacket. The Goalkeeper Plan is delivered as a small-group session and can be taken alongside any other training plan.

Monthly plans are billed in advance and payment is due on or before the first (1st) day of each calendar month. Payments more than seven (7) days overdue may result in temporary suspension of the Player's place until the outstanding balance is settled in full.

All fees are strictly non-refundable except as expressly stated in Clause 5 (Cancellation & Refunds) and Clause 11 (Academy Closure).

05Cancellation & Refunds

The Parent/Guardian may cancel any monthly plan by providing at least thirty (30) days' written notice to Info@oryxfa.com. Cancellations become effective at the end of the notice period; no partial-month refunds are issued.

Academy registration fees are strictly non-refundable once the Kit has been issued to the Player.

Missed training sessions are non-refundable. However, if a Player is unable to attend due to illness or injury and a valid medical certificate is submitted to the Academy, the value of the missed session(s) will be credited to the Player’s account for future use. Session credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may only be used within the validity period determined by ORYX.

ORYX may cancel or postpone training sessions due to adverse weather conditions, government directives, school or facility closures, safety concerns, or other events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure). In such cases, ORYX will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the affected session at no additional cost. If a Programme is permanently cancelled by ORYX and no suitable alternative can be offered, any prepaid fees relating to future unused sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

06Kit & Equipment

The official ORYX Academy Kit is issued upon successful registration and becomes the property of the Player once delivered. Registration fees relating to the Academy Kit are non-refundable after the Kit has been issued. Replacement items due to loss, damage, or size changes may be purchased at the applicable price.

Players are expected to attend all training and match Sessions wearing the official ORYX Kit. Non-Academy apparel may only be worn where expressly permitted by the coaching staff (for example, wet-weather layers).

07Attendance & Punctuality

Players are expected to arrive on-site at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled start of every Session and to attend training regularly.

Repeated unexplained absences may affect team selection, match participation, or continued enrolment in the Programme where consistent attendance is considered essential for player development. The Academy will always seek to communicate concerns to the Parent/Guardian before any such decision is taken.

08Code of Conduct

Players

Players are expected to show respect at all times to their coaches, teammates, opposition players and match officials, both on and off the pitch. Punctuality, effort and a positive attitude to learning are core Academy values.

Parents & Guardians

Parents/Guardians are asked to remain in the designated spectator area during Sessions and to refrain from coaching or issuing instructions from the sidelines. Positive support is encouraged; critical or aggressive commentary is not.

Behaviour Towards Staff & the Academy Community

ORYX is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all Players, Parents, Coaches, Match Officials, and Staff. Abusive, threatening, intimidating, or inappropriate behaviour towards any member of the Academy community may result in immediate suspension or termination of enrolment without refund.

Bullying, discriminatory language, and violence, whether physical or verbal, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate suspension or termination of enrolment.

09Health, Medical & Injury

The Parent/Guardian confirms that the Player is medically fit to participate in football training and matches, and that any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or medications have been disclosed to the Academy in writing at the point of registration.

Parents/Guardians are responsible for informing ORYX immediately of any change to the Player's medical condition, medications, allergies, or emergency contact details during the registration period.

ORYX maintains public liability insurance appropriate to its operations. However, football involves an inherent risk of injury; ORYX is not liable for injuries arising from the normal course of football training or match play, save where such injury is caused by the proven negligence of the Academy or its staff.

The Parent/Guardian is responsible for ensuring the Player is covered by a valid personal or family health-insurance policy that provides for on-pitch injury.

In the event of an injury or medical emergency during a Session, the Academy will take reasonable steps to secure prompt medical attention and will contact the Parent/Guardian without delay.

10Photography & Media

The Academy may photograph and film Sessions, matches and events for the purposes of coaching review, social-media content, marketing, and academy promotion.

ORYX will always use photographs and videos responsibly and in a manner that respects the dignity and privacy of all Players.

Photographs of individual children will not be published together with the child's full name, home address or contact details.

The Parent/Guardian may opt out of media use at any time by writing to Info@oryxfa.com. Opt-out requests take effect within thirty (30) days from receipt for existing published materials.

11Academy Closure

If ORYX permanently ceases operating during an active Programme, any prepaid fees relating to unused future training Sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, unless an equivalent alternative Programme is offered and accepted in writing by the Parent/Guardian.

12Suspension & Termination

ORYX may suspend or terminate a Player's enrolment where there is:

• Repeated breach of the Code of Conduct (Clause 8);
• Non-payment of fees more than fourteen (14) days overdue and unresolved;
• Any safeguarding concern that, in the Academy's reasonable judgement, cannot be resolved by less drastic measures;
• Failure to disclose or update relevant medical information (Clause 9).

The Parent/Guardian may terminate enrolment at any time subject to Clause 5 (Cancellation & Refunds).

13Personal Property

Players are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending training Sessions and matches. ORYX accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal items brought to the training venue. Players are encouraged to leave valuable items at home wherever possible.

14Data Protection

Personal data provided to ORYX is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

15Changes to these Terms

ORYX may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Academy operations, fees, or applicable law. The current version is always available at oryxfa.com/Terms.html.

Any material changes will be notified to registered Parents/Guardians by email at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Continued participation in the Programme following such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
